What is the Lena Freeman Grant Programme?
Lena Freeman was a long standing member and supporter of The Women’s Council where she also held a post on the Executive Committee. She passed away in 2022 and in her honour The Women’s Council has launched a Grant Programme which focusses on supporting CII alumni in their future projects and endeavours focussed on disability and inclusion.
Who can apply?
Any alumni of ADAPT’s CII course who have completed both the three month course and have completed their action plans can apply. The action plans must have been submitted to ADAPT. Alumni can apply in the year following the completion of the course
Applicants can apply for grants which will go towards projects in their home countries focused on disability and inclusion.
