A Message from the Chairman

It gives me the greatest pleasure and honour to accept my role as Chair for The Women’s Council. I am deeply overwhelmed by everyone’s kindness and encouragement to help such a vital Charity as The Women’s Council.

I promise to wholeheartedly continue and passionately support the work that TWC does to improve the care of disabled children and their families within their own communities in Asia, Asia Pacific and The Middle East at the same time promoting friendship and cooperation.
I am grateful that I will be able to give service to this reputable organisation that has impressed me so much along the years.

Together as a dedicated team of honourable Patrons, Our President Lady Butterworth, Committee Members, Training Advisors, Partners: Dr Mithu Alur and everyone at ADAPT (Able Disabled All People Together), Dr Alaa Sebeh and all at SETI (Support, Education, Training and Inclusion), and not forgetting the endless support from our Members and Guests, we will see TWC continue to flourish and make a difference to the lives of disabled children and their families.

We would like to pay tribute to Pat Yaxley, our retiring and long-serving Chairman who has led TWC in an exemplary and inspiring manner. She has set a very high standard, and one that we will continue and build upon as a dedicated team.

I wish to take this opportunity to praise the work and commitment of all the TWC officers. Without a doubt, this would not all be possible without our dedicated team, Patrons and supportive Members, and their guests.

Thank you so much for your support.

Dr Rajni Rijal

Chairman
