Recent visit to Muna Nepal

On her recent visit to Nepal, TWC Chairman Dr Rajni Rijal visited the Muna Nepal Organisation.

Muna Nepal is a non profits organisation which provides services for children who require support throughout their lives to help improve their quality of life. Muna Nepal focuses on early intervention through training and resources, helping families and carers to be well equipped to navigate developmental delays and/or disabilities.  Their all encompassing approach utilises therapy, education, counseling and medical support.

Children from Muna Nepal go on to be admitted into schools around Nepal. Two children that we visited at Muna Nepal are going to be admitted to schools in Banke, Nepalgunj and Nawalparasi. Their teachers will be Sanu Miya and Kaushila from this year’s CIl 2025 programme.

During her visit, Dr Rajni Rijal and her daughter Tara conducted a dental workshop for parents, children and staff. The workshop highlighted the importance of oral healthcare through teaching mothers simple and basic tooth brushing skills for their children (who had a wide range of additional needed).

Dr Rajni Rijal shares her gratitude with Reenu, Executive Director at Muna Nepal, her team, the mothers and children and Muna Nepal’s partners, the Audrey Jacob Foundation
