Once again Mrs Zainab Al-Farhan Al Imam generously offered the proceeds from the auction of one of the paintings on display to The Women’s Council. Conducted by Bonham’s, this prestigious event was held in September at the Lanesborough Hotel. Miss Antonia Derry MBE spoke to the gathering about the work of the Council. We are grateful to Mr Chucrallah Fattouch for donating the painting and to Mrs Asma Allawi who bought it – thus helping to support the costs of one participant on the CII Training Course.
