On Tuesday, 4th June, we were delighted to host our Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 2025, followed by a vibrant summer lunch at the elegant Army and Navy Club. It was a wonderful occasion that brought together a passionate group of individuals who are the heart of TWC’s mission.
The AGM was both informative and inspiring. Our audience included members, trustees, committee members, patrons, honorary vice presidents, new friends, our valued partners, and participants from the CII course. It was a pleasure to reflect on the many accomplishments of 2024 together.
Among the highlights shared were the successful delivery of the CII course in Mumbai, a range of impactful events hosted by TWC throughout the year, and an insightful update from our Honorary Training Advisor, Rachel Tainsh. We were also honored to hear a short but powerful speech from Dr. Mithu Alur, founder of ADAPT, whose vision continues to guide our work in Mumbai.
Following the AGM, guests enjoyed a delicious summer lunch—an opportunity not just to indulge in fine food, but to connect more deeply. Stories from TWC’s early days were exchanged with warmth and humour, offering both nostalgia and inspiration. It was a special moment of community, shared purpose, and celebration.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended and to all those who continue to support our mission. Your commitment enables us to grow stronger in our work to support disabled children and their carers across Asia, the Asia Pacific, and the Middle East.
Here’s to another year of collaboration, progress, and meaningful impact. We look forward to the memories we’ll create together in the months ahead.
