Testimonials

As someone with no prior experience working in the field of disabilities, the Community Initiatives in Inclusion (CII) course has been very eye-opening. The learning has been very experiential. It combined both practical field visits with lectures that are discussion-based. It taught me the importance of early childhood intervention for children with disabilities. It also pushed me to think and strive towards enabling an environment where the differences of individuals are met with respect, compassion and cultural understanding.

With the support of The Women’s Council, being part of the CII programme at ADAPT has been a deeply enriching experience. It made me more aware of the gaps between intention and practice, and the complexities of what inclusion truly requires.
Being in a space where these values were genuinely reflected made the learning feel real and meaningful. What stood out was how consistently TWC aligns with the values it stands for, which I found truly inspiring.
I am deeply grateful to TWC and ADAPT for the trust and support that made this experience possible.
