On this occasion we were joined by novelist Sarah Harrison, a lady of many talents. Sarah told us she has always enjoyed writing, basing her stories on people she’s met and places she’s known. As the daughter of an Army Officer, she grew up and went to school in various countries so there was no shortage of material to draw on. This background immediately resonated with many of our members who shared similar experiences. Quick to notice our reactions, her easy style of engaging people’s attention made us all feel we’d known her for years and were meeting an old friend. Come back to talk to us again, Sarah.
